Since last week, the following most political / newsy shit happened: 1) an important journalist was butchered intentionally by a major American ally as a state act, (2) some immigrants the size of a minor league baseball crowd/ Christians who speak Spanish are seeking to escape a dangerous situation and are slowly walking North, and (3) some bombs were sent in the mail, blacks were shot for the purpose of eradication, Jews were shot for the purpose of eradication. We are going to deal briefly with one and two, and leave three to be discussed among the major media outlets, and those whom righteously need to mourn.

Joe Jenson:

This Khashoggi situation is alarming. We give Saudi Arabia our money. Government money (as in Taxpayer’s $$). In aid, which is then used to buy weapons from us ($$ that goes to private interests, not American people). So it’s just a big $$$$$$ laundering scam that results in genocide, and extortion from taxpayers.

The picture above depicts Yemeni school children whose classmates were killed by a US supplied artillery. Those living in the US should be grateful that we are not the object of US foreign policy.

Joe Jensen (cont.): Stop Enabling Saudi Arabia. But we won’t. So there is the conundrum. We know what needs to be done. And our government won’t do it.

PartyboyGeezy: That’s not what the media focuses upon…What’s really important, is the caravan. There are seven thousand people slowly walking towards the border. That represents .00000002% of one person in your town, on average. Less than the size of a pre-season football game. Smaller that a Steely Dan concert. How does this affect our lives? Yet we who would build a multi-billion dollar wall? While not funding education and schools and healthcare. Instead let’s talk about building a 40 billion dollar, 2000+ mile border wall. That will deter 7,000 people, none of whom are going to make my life any worse.

Captain Quirk: Not cool – to equate lives like that.

Judge Vegan: All lives matter.

Big Lev: So what if the statistical significance is zero, or more accurately, .00000001% impact on your tax dollars? They are still people.

Eh Goddammit: They are also Christians escaping violence. They should matter to people. If we all spoke some Spanish, we would probably feel differently.

Joe Jenson: Plus, you must view this in the historical context. The US has supported a corrupt Honduran Gov’t for three decades. It is no surprise that the Gov’t is ineffective, seeing that it only maintained power through US foreign aid.

PartyBoyGeezy: I get it. I am insensitive to the plight of the Jethro Tull sized fan club walking towards the US at a snail’s pace. That’s not the point.

The point I’m trying to make is, why do we even care about the migrant caravan, publicly, from a media perspective, or pay attention to it as if it affects the lives of US citizens negatively?

The election tomorrow has issues important to the every day lives of Americans who will be effected by the outcome. This election is the difference between (1) maintaining healthcare

(2) being shut-out from healthcare for the rest of your life.

The Department of Justice and Jeff Sessions are faced with a lawsuit, challenging the provision in Obamacare that protects pre-existing conditions. AND THEY REFUSE TO DEFEND PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS. Correct, that is the current healthcare laws on the books, including pre-existing conditions. JEFF SESSIONS: the first and only federal lawyer of the US Gov’t not fighting a lawsuit against his own laws, since modern times. They openly refuse to defend the pre-existing conditions law, and protect us from losing it.

PARTYBOYGEEZY (cont.): I have a pre-existing condition. So if I quit my job, or if my partner quits her job, we get kicked off of healthcare.  We won’t be able to afford it? Why are we talking about migrants the size of a small liberal arts college? This is scary. If the GOP sweeps, my health, my life? How does a small group of joggers affect me negatively? We’re literally fighting for life in an election.

Judge Vegan: My people have feared for our lives for 400 years, and we only have had the right to vote for 50. Deal with it. Shit, if you include what’s going on in Georgia and the Stacy Abrams election, we still don’t have the real right to vote.

Eh Goddamnit: Yes. I’m brown too. Eh, yeh, ehey they are trying to take my vote away … Eh, yeh, ehey they are trying to take my vote away.

(Deep Fried Vegan shakes his head.)

Flag Man: In solidarity with the sentiment, I have designed a flag for this occasion. It’s called “Flag Face Melt Death Schism.”  It used to look like this, which shows our collective anxiety and fear,

but now it’s this, because, well, we are all doomed to face death by schism…or are we?!?!

The Great Party Blog Debates – Part 1 – Anarchy v. Capitalism and the Political Organization of Society

There has been a debate raging here at the party blog about the ideal form of political – social organization for society. Given that we are living in the throes of capitalism – which has been the primary driver of western sociological and political organization for over 500 years – and the flaws of capitalism are no longer debatable in good conscience (slavery / human trafficking, environmental destruction and degradation, downriver destructive flow of money, power over purpose, wealth over labor, etc.), the philosophical debate here is – do we destroy capitalism outright and accept anarchy or another form of bottom up organization such as socialism or communism? Or can capitalism survive with social democratic policies in place such as in the Scandavian countries? Do the police simply exist to protect capitalist structures and keep down those who comprise cheap labor in this world and oppress others that would turn over private wealth to the proletariat?

The debate raging – here and in larger society generally – What is the ideal form of political and social organization?

In one corner – we have Joe Jenson – former military who has been drinking protein shakes like water in anticipation of the coming civil war against the fascists. He has been working on marksmanship, argument skills, submission holds, and stockpiling bullets in the crawl space(s) under his house. He is also a trained lawyer, and therefore skilled in argument. He is not the type you would want to meet as an adversary, either in a bare-knuckle brawl in a back alley or in a courtroom. The nomination and confirmation of Kavanaugh has put Joe Jensen in a worse mood than usual, and with the country further entering into the depths of neo-fascist Trumpian policies protecting wealthy oil interests, pharmaceutical industries, insurance, polluters, and rich gentry in general, all while being propped up by evangelicals and quacky / white fragility promoting / supremacist xenophobes such as Jordan B. Peterson, a guy who literally hates hippies even though they birthed the greatest rock and roll music and promoted things everyone should love such as weed, open-mindedness, free-thinking, and equality.

Joe Jenson has been getting through his day with Gritty memes, presenting the new Flyers mascot as a communist:

If you’re a fascist, if you write for rival trashy blogs such as the Daily Stormer, or work for a cancerous organization such as Turning Point USA,

Gritty is coming for you.

Joe Jenson believes capitalism must be destroyed as quickly as possible. The recent study showing that significant change in environmental policy must be taken in the next 12 years to avoid catastrophic consequences to the Earth means capitalism is not up for the challenge of protecting the future of the human race and the world we live.

If you believe in something amoral and shitty such as white supremacy as opposed to something cool like the unification of all people through the party, or if your name is Andrew Anglin – Joe Jenson and Gritty are coming for you.

Joe Jenson: Capitalism must go. We will be scorched and extinct long before capitalism can evolve in any way to protect us. As long as those who are well off and a small percentage of the population benefit from the system and the masses suffer, there is a problem in how this society functions. The economic power of industry wants to keep things as they are to maintain the profit making machine. Our system won’t change as long as the moneyed interests have power and will oppose change. Yet scientists have an agenda:

The only real solution as I see it is for workers to have control of the economy. As long as workers do not have control of the economy, and this control remains in the hands of the few, people will be doomed. Even with universal healthcare, free education, and these other social democratic promises, as long as those controlling the economy are the few, any meaningful reform will be stripped down to benefit the few. Those controlling the economy continue to extract resources to benefit the limited, while we all pay the price. Capitalism has put us right in another gilded age. The state is only serving to keep the owners of capital in power. Any efforts to delegitimize capital owners – such as free assembly, removal of police forces that hold down organizers of labor and those who would destroy capitalism, those who would do away with the prisons – is met with force. Police should be on the same side as labor because they too are fighting for table scraps. The solution is the destruction of the state, and the reorganization from the ground up. This is commonly called anarchy, but it has been given a bad name and needs to be taken seriously. The state has only served those in power. And it must be changed.

Big Lev is a pragmatist and a statistician. He relies upon empirical modeling, and not philosophical argument. Big Lev is knowingly reliant upon capitalism yet not a devotee. Moreover, Big Lev is in perfect health, no body fat, likely related to Eastern European Russo/German Arm Wrestlers, Chess Masters, and Flying Trapeze Artists. In this sense, he is not one want to change society for the sake of it, as he enjoys the status quo. Therefore, he refuses to fall into the mistake of repeating leftist propaganda such as “destroy the Fed,” and “down with capitalism” because he recognizes that we have technology, phones, clothing, cars, all of which relies, in part, upon cheap labor. If you destroy the current system, you need to be prepared to replace it with something quickly and effectively to avoid chaos. If your propositions are better in theory but not practice, if the practicality of a proposition fails statistical evidence – you will be declared a loser: “Blatantly fucking wrong!” declared in a loud harsh voice while you cry in the corner and people shake their heads in disgust. People believe Big Lev, not just because he is tall, strong, imposing, he is believable. Smart, credible, thinking ahead, the propositions are based in repeated observations and expected outcome. When he says something, he is probably right.

Big Lev: I appreciate your point. But who’s fixing the roads outside of your house? Who’s fixing the bridges? How are you getting clean water delivered to your sink? Is anyone testing that water? Can you point to a single example of communities without a government controlling certain essential functions, such as water delivery, electricity…

Joe Jenson: Hold on now…electrical systems have been overtaken by private enterprise.

Big Lev: Blatantly you’re making my point now. You’re talking about systems of capitalism. Get rid of utilities, like electric. You miss the bigger point. Basic services. Maintaining pollution controls. Before government, fines, municipal sewers, people are essentially pouring shit on the streets. How does this not become prevalent in an anarchy system where there are no rules and no regulations?

Joe Jenson: I’m not arguing for the removal of water or electrical services. However, the capitalists force the laws and set prices for these services. As a result, it is more expensive to put solar panels on one’s roof than to buy dirty electricity. If there were not capitalists pushing the state to protect fossil fuels in the form of free pollution and tax credits, you would have a cleaner environment. In an anarchical society, you will still pay for services. I’m not saying you get rid of municipal services. I’m saying the state no longer controls what you do. It does not control the police. There are basically no police. What’s wrong with that?

Big Lev: No. You’re changing the argument. I’m not arguing that the lack of policing and a society engaging in a reality without policing is bad. That’s clearly good. You’re just trying to out lawyer and ignore the premise. The premise is: can you give an example of an anarchy in a modern society, with modern needs, roads, bridges, public transportation systems, in which it has been successful.

Joe Jenson: Certainly there are examples. There are numerous small communes succeeding in Spain. You can also look at Tibetan villages as an example where communities can successfully organize without a police presence. But you’re missing my point. I’m not saying that you don’t have to pay taxes. I’m not saying that modern technology and systems would cease. What I’m saying is —- how is it that we still need a state to police us. Communities make laws, and there are not police to bring the law to your house.

Round 1 has ended. Now let’s meet the judges:

Judge Eh Goddammit. Mr. Goddammit is a new aged singer / songwriter and recently decided to enter the legal profession as well, and unfortunately has to attend law school in order to do so. He is currently knee deep in Constitutional text books. By reading Supreme Court opinions since the early 1800’s, one gains a unique historical perspective on how the laws have shaped the history of this Country.

Eh Goddammit: Round 1 is over. I think you are both missing the point. Why can’t we keep the Current system, or close to it, without just getting rid of a lot of drug laws. Like, what if you had a vote on the decision to fire or hire a policeman in your neighborhood. Essentially, they are supposed to work for you. If you do that, and don’t change society in a drastic way, would that not help? Try community policing.

Judge Doctor Captain Quirk. Dr. Captain Quirk is an Army captain, doctor, and general bleeding heart liberal with a mean streak of libertarian / dictatorial bend but only if he were in charge of the universe. You would ultimately be in favor the Doctor Captain being in charge of everything, because he would make a better leader than everyone else. Except that you might get sick of Indiana Jones Temple of Doom and Rutger Hauer movies playing on repeat constantly.

Judge Flag Man. Judge Flag Man is a flag salesman. He provides great insight about flags, and how these impact society at large. You need flags. They define who and what you belong to.

Flag Man: Buy more flags. This one is nice.

PartyBoyGeezy: Screw that flag. That flag is racist.

Flag Man: That is not racist.  The Join or Die flag was popularized by Ben Franklin. It depicts the colonies during the revolution. The image means that if you do not join the country, all aspects of the snake will die.  Both the revolution and the individual states will fail.  You are thinking of a different flag, the Gadsen Flag.

Don’t tread on me is used as a calling sign for libertarians and supremacists – namely those who would tread on the opinions of others by stating “Don’t tread on me.”

Captain Quirk: I like the Join or Die Flag. I’m going to buy one and put that in my office. When nurses question me – I’m going to tell them – Join or Die!

Judge Deep Fried Vegan. Judge Vegan is a master vegan chef by day, hotel concierge by night. He encounters many strange characters at his hotel including crazy right wingers, wealthy democratic donors, escorts, and general suburban privileged rich drunks. By day, he is amassing a menu of vegan items for his potential launch of a vegan restaurant.

Judge Vegan: Can you make me another Pan African Flag?

My neighbor down the street that is contributing to the gentrification of my block keeps taking mine down because he thinks it makes the neighborhood look aggressive. Also, Joe Jenson is clearly right. We need to burn this to the ground. This is basically how I feel all the time.

Flag Man: I can make you any of those flags. We make all flags, except for the confederate flag, or nazi flag, unless you are a serious movie producer. We made some of those for Glory and Schindler’s List, but most asking for nazi or confederate flags are not Steven SpielburgDid you know the confederate flag is the best selling flag in the country? We have also seen an uptick in requests for nazi flags and German Eagles. We won’t sell or make those flags. We have a conscience about our flags.

Joe Jenson: I have an improvement on the Gadsen Flag. You should stop selling that other piece of crap flag and sell this instead.

Captain Kwig: Round one is a tie. Eh Goddammit is out of order. Policing, and the possibility of community policing is to be discussed further in Round 2.

To be Continued…

Feels Like A Stranger

The song below. Pretty much how it feels these days to be around white people, as a white person, who does not agree with the way this Country is headed.

Bart O’Kavanaugh was confirmed. It’s one thing for Trumpy Drumpf to get elected. It’s another thing for a sexual predator to get confirmed. If people elect someone in, it is clear that the consensus (albeit a small one – a total consensus of voters less than the actual loser, which makes the Electoral college basically the same as NCAA football pre-BCS) goes for this guy. What makes this different, is that this certain Bart O’Kavanaugh is not elected. Lacks the approval of the Country. Yet he is given one of the most powerful positions in the free world. For the first time in a long time, when we see other white people, and we wonder about their positions, we wonder what their motivation is. What is the greater purpose behind all of this? This Country – It feels like a stranger:

Note: Yes this post was written by a straight white person. For any black, brown, gay, queer, special needs. This is not news. Country has never been nice to lots of peopo.

Why are Americans Supporting Bart O’Kavanaugh?

On the eve of America’s Second Biggest Douchebag getting confirmed to the Supreme Court, I cannot help but scratch my head at why so many fellow Americans – none of whom know Kavanaugh personally – have given the man such support in the face of allegations that he drunkenly forced himself upon a younger girl. So many Americans are saying, he’s a good man with a good record. How many have actually read his judicial opinions? How do you know that? All of the written evidence points to this guy being a huge douche.

Instead of simply letting futility set in, the PartyBlog wants to point to the written record. It’s human nature to deny accusations when you KNOW nothing bad is going to happen for admitting a wrongdoing or a crime. Looking at the writings of the man, it clearly indicates someone who was not following the rule of law and was totally comfortable engaging in shady summer activities, when this assault allegedly occurred. Also, how many people do you know with an alias that are innocent? SERIOUSLY!

A quick review of the letter sent from Kavanaugh to his cronies, signed .  as the alias, Bart O’Kavanaugh, sheds further light on this mind boggling situation of Kavanaugh’s nomination. Something to keep in mind, from the PartyBlog’s perspective is, how is this man going to make this country better? He’s an accused sex offender. Do we really want him on the highest Court? The resounding answer should be no. As Americans, we should be good enough as a people to come together on this issue. Even if you are inclined to believe Kavanaugh’s denials (again, for no good reason, as fully explained from a legal perspective here, let’s give him the benefit of the doubt). The next question then, one must ask — is he going to improve our lives? Is Kavanaugh going to promote unity, criminal justice reform, workers’ rights, people’s ability to assemble, create art, protest peacefully, or is he a tool of the state on the side of the GOP? The people on the right who  are his supporters – and supposedly hate the state – continue to blindly fall in line with the party that most frequently take away and limit our rights. It is confounding.

Let’s look at Kavanaugh’s actual words in the form of the letter to his dip-shit buddies leading up to “BEACH WEEK”:

Four noteworthy items stand out:

1) The mention that we’ll welcome girls with “open ….” The ellipses is a reference to open “legs.” The idea – clearly – is to get girls so good and drunk that they cannot resist. Again, Ford’s allegations – as shocking as they seem at first – are consistent with the narrative that these kids were drinking too much and out of control, and did not care about the consequences.

2) The letter is signed “FFFFF”. The same terminology appears on O’Kavanaugh’s yearbook page. Clearly there is deeper meaning here. This is not a reference to someone’s stuttering friend. After all of the hoopla, and genuflecting about luring women in, we must go back to Avenatti’s claim that this means “French, finger, fuck, forget,” whatever. If you believe that this is due to a stutter – why the FFFFF would the END of the letter simply say: “FFFFFF.” It appears, in plain sight, to be a entreaty that all comers in the clique FIND FINGER FUCK FRENCH FORGET. Are we smart – stupid – or just willfully blind. Even if you refuse to believe the prevailing explanation – are you satisfied with Bart O’Kavanaugh’s explanation? Yeah, my buddy used to stutter so it’s an inside joke…Do you really believe that – especially when the letter was signed by “Bart”?

3) How many people do you trust that knowingly use an alias? Especially when trying to be devious. When you add the whole thing up – whose explanation makes more sense? The guy who is trying to hide something, signs missives by way of his alias as an effort to hide his identity, and brags about exploits – or the person who seemed totally believable with everything to lose? Finally, we now know that Bart O’Kavanaugh cannot deny the reference to his identity in Judge’s book – Wasted, Tales of a White Drunk (or whatever the title is) – as Bart O’Kavanaugh. The reference in the book states something to the effect of “Do you know Bart O’Kavanaugh? He puked all over himself in a car.” Charming.

4) This guy was planning beach week, but could not make the deposit because he was in Ireland with his family. How many average Americans go from Ireland with their family one week to Beach Week the next. I’m not holding it against anyone whose family sends them on an international trip. Good for you! However, this is clearly not an average Joe. This is someone from privilege. We need average people, from average backgrounds, on the Supreme Court. We need judges who understand the needs of every-day citizens. Why do so many preach LOVE for the President, as if he is an average person? The same inclination seems to apply for Bart O’Kavanaugh. Do we really think that by voting for someone, or supporting someone when they have shown themselves to be a total and utter D-Bag, that somehow that will pull us up economically? Has Donald Trump sent anyone a check for buying an overpriced hat made in China? Has anyone actually gotten something out of this whole shit show to make their lives better?

Which brings us to the next topic – to be further explored in depth in the next segment. It is time for Americans of all walks and colors to recognize that the party in power (Republicans) and even the moderate Democrats – do not care about our well being.  The GOP is dedicated to its corporate donors first and foremost. It has successfully convinced mostly white, conservatives, to support their cause. Their actual cause however, is corporate power and big bucks! The GOP are not your friends. They do not support your right to drink beer in public, grow or smoke weed, or assemble to protest. They do not care about anything such as the citizens’ right to make a living, healthcare, increasing minimum wage. They want you to pay more for water, utilities, so their buddies get rich.

It is time for this country to unite together and revolt against the corporate megadonors that are shamelessly and blatantly controlling our government. Do you think that Bart O’Kavanaugh is going to do anything on the Supreme Court except further the destruction of basic civil rights and the right to organize – while insulating those in power? When your brother is dope sick – is Kavanaugh going to care? When we need hospitals to be funded so we can get our kids healthy, do you honestly think this guy is getting behind that or destroying healthcare if his backers support it? Is he going to protect access to medicine or the rights of Big Pharma? His job – his job forever – was to help his friends. Whether this means help them get drunk, piss drunk, pissier drunk, commit sex crimes, indict a sitting president (which he now claims is unconstitutional), or support Donald Trump’s never-ending power grab, Bart O’Kavanaugh is consistent. And this is not going to help you and me get to his or her universal party or American Dream. Unless your version of a party is to violate the rights of others, rob, cheat, and steal to get to the top.
